According to a joint study by management consultancy firm Kienbaum and the Center of Automotive Research (CAR) at the University of Duisburg-Essen, 94 % of German consumers surveyed consider environmental protection important or fairly important. 84 % are generally convinced of being able to make a personal contribution to protecting the environment.

Ecological products and sustainable production are accordingly on track towards transforming themselves into decisive competitive and sales factors.
